Kumasi, Feb. 14, GNA – Prudential Bank Limited (PBL), in partnership with Nita Travels, is set to sponsor more than 30 loyal customers on business excursions to Korea, Turkey and China this year.
The initiative forms part of the bank’s strategy to support the growth of its commercial clients by providing them with direct access to international markets and strategic business networks.
Under the programme, participating customers would embark on carefully curated itineraries: Accra–Seoul–Guangzhou–Accra; Accra–Istanbul–Guangzhou–Accra; and Accra–Doha–Guangzhou–Accra.
The packages would cover return flights, visa processing, accommodation, factory visits, participation in major international trade fairs, including the Canton Fair in China and AFEX in Istanbul as well as Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings and networking sessions.
Mr Ebow Quayson, the Acting Managing Director of Prudential Bank, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the initiative underscored the bank’s commitment to empowering its customers to expand their businesses beyond Ghana’s borders.
He noted that international exposure was critical for local enterprises seeking to remain competitive and innovative.
“We are intentional about creating opportunities for our customers to thrive. These business trips provide a unique platform for them to interact with global partners, explore new markets and strengthen their operations,” he stated.
Mr Frederick Adomako-Ansah, the Head of Commercial Banking at PBL, said the bank had successfully organised similar trips last year to Turkey, China and Qatar, with participants describing the experience as transformative.
He expressed optimism about this year’s programme, emphasising that it would once again open doors to global markets and deepen customers’ international business relationships.
Ms Joanita Aseidu, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nita Travels, is leading the travel coordination for the initiative, ensuring participants benefit from seamless travel arrangements and structured business engagements.
