Accra, Feb. 19, GNA -The New Horizon Special School (NHSS) will host its 2026 Annual Fun Games on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 1000 to 1400 hours at its premises in Accra.
The event which would be held on the themed “Let Us Run with Perseverance the Race Marked Out for Us-(Hebrews 12:1b),” seeks to create an inclusive sporting experience tailored to the diverse abilities of pupils.
In a release issued in Accra, the School said the fun games would ensure that every child actively participates in activities suited to their abilities, helping to build confidence, promote inclusion and celebrate unique strengths.
It said beyond sports, the event would also serve as a platform to bring together families, friends and members of the wider community to show solidarity and support for children with special needs.
The programme is expected to attract distinguished guests, including Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku‑Agyeman, whose presence underscores national commitment to inclusive education and child development.
