Accra, Feb. 19, GNA – Knutsford University has crowned Cassandra Mawuenam Offei, a 21‑year‑old Nursing student, as Miss Knutsford Africa 2026 at a colourful ceremony held at the university’s East Legon Main Auditorium.
The event, organised by Knutsford University and EduEnter Group Ghana with support from CASLeR, Hooked on ENT and the SRC, showcased African culture, leadership and creativity.
The event was supported by Pepsodent, Ghana Cocoa Board, Shark Island, Guy Guy Foods and several partner brands.
Eight contestants competed in segments assessing intellect, cultural knowledge and service. The pageant was hosted by media personality Ken Francis and beauty queen Harriet Lamptey.
Victoria Mawunyo Ahorso, 20, a Multimedia Journalism student, was named 1st Runner‑up, while Florence Abuse Quaye, 20, an IT student, placed 2nd Runner‑up.
Josephine Yayra Debrah, 22, won the Miss People’s Choice title.
Cassandra Mercedes Ashiley and Mary Moses Larbie completed the Top Five, with Trish Konadu Kumah and Marianne Onyinyechi Oforji also earning finalist positions.
Special awards were presented in categories including Miss Congeniality, Photogenic, Runway, Talent, Eloquent, Elegant, Cultural Representation, Impact Project, Presentation and Evening Gown.
The newly crowned queen receives a year‑long title, a full tuition scholarship, an international trip, brand ambassadorial duties, media engagements and mentorship opportunities.
The Miss Knutsford Africa Pageant promotes leadership, cultural appreciation and community service among young African women, in line with the university’s commitment to grooming ethical and globally competitive leaders.
