Parents of 2025 Best BECE student commend MP for his assistance

 Techimantia  (Ahafo), Jan 09 -GNA-The parents of the 2025 Best BECE Student from Saviour M/A Basic School, Miss Asantewaa Theresa, have expressed their gratitude to the Member of Parliament, Mr. Charles Akwasi Asiedu, for fulfilling his promise to reward the top-performing student in the constituency.  

Asantewaa Theresa, a 16-year-old student who scored an impressive aggregate seven, received GH¢10,000 from the MP as a token of appreciation for her outstanding performance.  

 The young girl is currently pursuing her senior high school education at Holy Child in Cape Coast.  

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ebenezer Atta, Asantewaa’s father, of the girl thanked the MP for his generosity and commitment to supporting education in the constituency. “We are grateful for the MP’s initiative, which will motivate other students to strive for excellence,” he said.  

Asantewaa’s grandmother, Madam Asantewaa, a teacher, echoed the sentiment, urging parents to prioritize their children’s education and avoid unnecessary expenses saying the MPs initiative will encourage our children to work harder and achieve better results,” in the years ahead.  

The Headmaster of Saviour MA Basic School, Mr James Kwadwo Anane, praised the MP’s efforts, stating that the reward will motivate teachers and students alike to strive for excellence. “The MP’s initiative is a game-changer for our school and the constituency as a whole,” he said.  

The Public Relations Officer for Ghana Education Service in the Tano South Municipal, Mr. Prince Agyemang Dua, also commended the MP for his kindness and urged him to continue supporting education in the areanand mentioned that  Asantewaa achievement was a testament to her hard work and dedication to her studies adding that her story  would serves as an inspiration to other students in the constituency, indicating  that with determination achieving excellent is possible.
