Nsawkaw, (Bono), Jan. 16, GNA – Mr Francis Obeng, the Tain Deputy Constituency Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bono Region has commended the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Tain Constituency, Mr Adama Sulemana for his passion for development.
He said the MP’s commitment and passion towards advancing the progressive development of the constituency remained unparalleled, saying through the MP, the constituency had benefited immeasurably from the one-year administration of President John Dramani Mahama.
Mr Obeng gave the commendation in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) and lauded the execution of several projects initiated and funded by the MP.
He said those projects ranged from water provision to educational and health facilities and added scoring to the MP for his creditable performance in identifying and tackling the emerging development needs of the constituents.
Mr Obeng re-affirmed President Mahama’s dedication to reshape the deplorable condition of networks in the Bono Region, saying work on the construction of the Berekum-Sampa Road and many others would commence very soon, under the “Big Push” road infrastructure initiative.
He said in the past one-year, President Mahama had demonstrated a genuine commitment to advance the progressive development of Bono and called on the chiefs and people of the region to support the government achieving his vision for the nation through the reset Ghana agenda.
