Sang (N/R), Jan. 20, GNA – Alhaji Misbawu Mahama Adams, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Mion Constituency in the Northern Region, has donated logistics and ICT equipment worth GH₵232,000.00 to support key decentralised public institutions in the Mion District.
It was to enhance the operational capacity of the beneficiary institutions, to improve the quality and effectiveness of service delivery, especially in remote and hard-to-reach communities.
The items, presented at a brief ceremony at Sang, included eight Apsonic motorbikes, six Dell laptops and four vehicle tyres.
Beneficiaries were the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Health Service (GHS), Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Department of Agriculture.
Presenting the items, Alhaji Mahama Adams said the gesture sought to address transportation and logistical challenges confronting state institutions in the constituency.




He noted that improved mobility and access to basic logistics were critical to effective service delivery at the local level and urged the beneficiary institutions to ensure proper maintenance of the items.
Mr Azindow Hamza Moabalyn, the Mion District Chief Executive, commended the MP for the gesture, saying it complemented government efforts at strengthening decentralised governance and development.
Mr Mohammed Dawuda, the Mion District Director of Education, who received the items on behalf of the institutions, thanked the MP and said the support would significantly enhance field operations and staff efficiency.
