Krachi East MP kicks off massive road rehabilitation project

Dambai (O/R), Jan 12, GNA-Mr Nelson Kofi Djabab, Member of Parliament (MP) of Krachi East constituency, has begun a massive road rehabilitation project in the area. 

The beneficiary projects would include Bawa-Akura junction to Matamanu community, Adokwanta junction to Dadoto community, Dadoto junction to Katanga-Tornu, Kpelema junction to Bidi community, Kechiebi junction to Njare community, Njare junction to Binagmam community. 

The project aims to improve road infrastructure, boost trade and commerce, and enhance the quality of life for residents. 

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), the MP emphasized that those roads are the lifeblood of Krachi East, connecting farmers to markets, schools and healthcare facilities. 

Mr Djabab added that these roads will boost agricultural productivity, create Jobs and increase revenue for the Municipal Assembly. ” It is about improving lives, not just paving roads. 

Residents are optimistic about the projects’ impact, citing improved transportation and access to markets. 

In an engagement with some drivers and commuters in the enclave, they gave a thumbs up to the MP for listening to their pleas and launching the road rehabilitation project. 

Mr Djabab has heard our cries; we are thankful for his efforts to fix our roads, citing improved travel times and reduced vehicle maintenance costs.
