Dzodze (V/R), Jan 21, GNA – The Ketu North Municipal Assembly (KNMA), under the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive, Rev Martin Amenaki, has held a Staff Durbar at the instance of the Chief Director of the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC).
The durbar brought together management and staff of the Assembly alongside a delegation from the VRCC.
The engagement served as a strategic platform for interaction, reflection, and candid dialogue on the Assembly’s overall performance and institutional direction.
It provided an opportunity to take stock of ongoing programmes and projects, assess work output across departments, and identify key administrative and operational challenges affecting service delivery.
Through an open forum, staff were encouraged to freely share their concerns, experiences, and ideas for improving internal coordination, strengthening teamwork, and enhancing efficiency.
The exchange of views was described as constructive and forward-looking, with participants proposing practical measures to improve workflow, communication, and accountability within the Assembly.
In his remarks, Rev Amenaki commended management and staff for their dedication and sacrifices in serving the people of Ketu North, acknowledging the critical role public servants play in driving local development.
He, however, urged renewed commitment to professionalism, discipline, and ethical conduct, stressing that a strong work culture and unity of purpose were essential to delivering quality services.
The VRCC team led by Alhaji Mohammed Avona Akape, encouraged staff to align their daily work with the broader regional and national development agenda, emphasising the importance of results-driven performance, transparency, and responsiveness to the needs of citizens.
The Staff Durbar concluded with a reaffirmation of the Assembly’s commitment to building a people-centred, accountable, and efficient local government system that delivers tangible development outcomes and improves the quality of life for residents across the municipality.
