Accra, Jan. 16, GNA – Kenny Jim Parku won four awards at the Ghana Models Awards 2025, including Overall Male Model of the Year, setting a record for the most wins at a single event in the scheme’s history.
Parku, who also took home titles for Editorial Male Model, Commercial Male Model and Underwear Model of the Year, said the achievement was unexpected and humbling.
“This is a testament to years of consistency, discipline and dedication in a highly competitive industry,” Parku said in an interview.
He credited designers, photographers and other creatives for supporting his journey. The previous record of three awards in one night was held by Ghanaian model Ian.
Parku said surpassing that milestone was “an honour and a proud moment.” Bintu Baaba Jallo was named Overall Female Model of the Year at the ceremony, held at the Mikkado Conference Centre in Accra.
Other winners included Dam Dorothy as Discovery of the Year and Heidi Ansah as Plus Size Model of the Year.
The Ghana Models Awards, now in its eighth edition, also recognised excellence in areas such as runway modelling, fashion choreography and industry support.
