Offinso (Ash), Jan. 28, GNA – Dr Bryan Acheampong, NPP presidential aspirant, has called on the delegates to the January 31, 2026 presidential primaries to have confidence in his capabilities and vote massively for him.
He said granting him the mandate to lead the party would set the stage for a comprehensive restoration of discipline and unity, which were crucial for the NPP’s success in the 2028 general elections.
Addressing delegates at Offinso ahead of the crucial primaries, he explained that, without a strong sense of unity among the party leadership and members, there would be no viable path to regaining power in the upcoming 2028 elections.
Dr Acheampong assured the delegates that, under his stewardship, there would be a total transformation within the party, particularly focusing on revitalizing polling station executives and engaging the grassroots members.
He emphasized that the time had come to foster inclusivity within the party by actively seeking to address the grievances and concerns that resonated among the grassroots.
This, he believes, was essential for building a robust foundation for the party’s future.
Dr Acheampong urged the delegates to hand him the baton of leadership, assuring them that together, they could achieve victory come 2028.
He stated that he was committed to leading the party towards a brighter future, where unity and discipline reigned.
Accompanying him were notable figures, such as Dr. Marfo, a former Member of Parliament, Mr. Pius Enam Hadzide, the spokesman for his campaign, and Mr. Kusi Boafo, all of whom share his vision for the party’s future.
Other prominent supporters included Nana Wiafe Ababio and Mr Adu-Poku Christian, the NPP Assistant Party Chairman for the UK, among many others, who stand united in this crucial campaign effort.
