Accra, Dec. 29, GNA — His Grace Good News Club, a not-for-profit Christian club for children focused on evangelizing and mentoring boys and girls, has held a Christmas party for its members as part of activities marking its 10th anniversary.
The annual event, held at Baatsona off the Spintex Road, brought together children, parents, volunteers and partners to celebrate a decade of nurturing children with Christian values, moral discipline and leadership through evangelism and mentorship programmes.
In her address, Mrs Charlotte Afudego, Co-Founder of the Club stated that the Club which was established to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, also aimed at helping them learn biblical principles, develop good character and grow into responsible citizens.


“We are not only providing them with a safe space, but helping them to know personally know the Lord Jesus and cultivate godly character,” she said.
“We believe in catching them young and have over the years nurtured and trained hundreds of children,” she added.
Mrs Afudego who revealed the Club’s commitment to expand its outreach to reach more children across communities, said the anniversary celebration was also a moment of reflection and renewed dedication to the mission.
Mr. Selasi Amegashie, a facilitator of the club expressed their gratitude to God and stakeholders for sustaining the organisation over the past 10 years, noting that the journey had been both challenging and fulfilling.


The Christmas party featured carols, scripture recitals, choreography, games and the distribution of gifts to the children, creating a festive atmosphere to cap the anniversary celebrations.
Parents and facilitators commended the Club for its impact on the lives of children over the years and encouraged continued support to sustain and expand its activities.
His Grace Good News Club was formed on May 03, 2015.
