Dakudzi (V/R), Dec. 23, GNA – Torgbui Teku IV, a 40-year-old businessman, has been enstooled as the Chief of Dakudzi, a farming community in the Agortime-Ziope District of the Volta Region.
Torgbui Teku IV, known in private life as Mr James Worlasi Ahiadeke, is the Managing Director of Satellite Hotel, a Tema-based hospitality facility.
He succeeded his late father, Torgbui Teku III, a transport owner who passed away recently and was laid to rest.
At a colourful coronation ceremony held at Dakudzi, the new chief pledged to foster unity, peace, and accelerated development in the community.
He said his reign would focus on bringing together all factions to work for a common purpose, stressing that unity was key to the progress of Dakudzi.
Torgbui Teku IV also promised to prioritise development initiatives, particularly in agriculture, education, and youth empowerment, to improve the living standards of the people.
He called on the people of Dakudzi, especially the youth, to support his vision and contribute positively to the growth and transformation of the community.
The coronation activities were led by Torgbui Ladzekpo Tettey-Gefu IV of Horti and Torgbui Befra Kwasi Awanya II of Live, with traditional rites performed amid drumming and dancing.


Residents and natives of Dakudzi expressed joy and excitement over the peaceful enstoolment, describing it as a significant milestone for the community’s future.
The ceremony was attended by chiefs from neighbouring communities, opinion leaders, family members, and well-wishers, who pledged their support to the new chief.
