Sunyani, (Bono), Nov. 17, GNA – Scores of prospective applicants on Monday besieged the premises of the Sunyani main post office, as the Ministry of Interior opens the sale of security service forms, nationwide.

The Ministry announced the sale of the service forms, effective Saturday November 15 to Friday December 19, 2025, to provide opportunity for prospective applicants to be enlisted into the Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Immigration Service and the Ghana Police Service.

During a visit to the post office 1000 hours, the Ghana News Agency (GNA) noticed that hundreds of young people had arrived there to buy the forms.

Some of the anxious applicants told the GNA that they arrived at the post office around 0400 hours, however, nobody had attended to them as at 10”30 hours, describing the situation as frustrating.

Master Sampson Boateng, one of the applicants, shared his sentiments and called on the ministry to do more to speed up the sale of the forms.

Another applicant, Kwaku Danso said it was unfortunate that no official had attended to them since they reported at the post office.

Miss Joyce Mensah also expressed worry that: “The entire process is very annoying because nobody here cares about us. They have not even come to explain anything to us.”

However, when contacted, an official at the post office told the GNA that the sale of the forms was expected to commence at 12:00 hours.
