Police launches investigation into alleged kidnapping of 42-year man in Dambai

Dambai (O/R) Nov. 05, GNA – The Ghana Police Service has initiated an investigation into the alleged kidnapping of Mr Fuseini Mohammed, a 42-year-old man at Dambai in the Oti Region. 

A statement signed by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mr John Nchor, the Acting Oti Regional Public Affairs Officer, indicated that the victim was abducted near the Evangelical Presbyterian (E.P) clinic while returning home with his wife on a motorbike on Thursday, October 21, 2025 

In response, the police had launched a manhunt, pursuing multiple leads to locate and rescue the victim, while working to apprehend the suspects involved. 

The statement said the Ghana Police Service had called for public cooperation, urging anyone with credible information to come forward to aid the ongoing investigation.

The police assured the public of their commitment to ensuring the victim’s safe return and bringing the perpetrators to justice, the statement said.
