Accra, Nov 09, GNA- The Parliament of Ghana has announced that media accreditation is now open for the presentation of the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy by Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, the Finance Minister.
The presentation is scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2025.
In a press release signed by Mr David Sabastian Damoah, the Director, Media Relations, Parliament, said, “In accordance with security protocol, all media houses that intend to cover or host their morning show in the foyer of Parliament are hereby requested to submit their application for accreditation to the Director, Media Relations not later than Tuesday, 11th November, 2025.”
The release further emphasized that “no media person would be granted access without accreditation.”
The 2026 Budget Statement is expected to be a significant policy presentation, outlining the government’s economic priorities and development agenda for the upcoming year.
