Avoid acts that can affect progress made in resolving the Bawku conflict – Manhyia palace

Kumasi Nov. 11, GNA – The Manhyia palace has appealed to all parties in the Bawku conflict to avoid acts likely to affect the progress made towards finding a lasting solution to the conflict. 

A statement signed by Mr Kofi Badu, the Chief of Staff of the Manhyia palace,  and issued in Kumasi, said the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has scheduled November 30th and December 1st 2025, as the concluding sessions of his mediation efforts in the Bawku chieftaincy conflict. 

It said Otumfuo Osei Tutu praised both sides of the conflict for their positive approach to the mediation so far, and said it was important for all concern to avoid any actions that would affect the mediation process.
