Kiev, Oct 26, (dpa/GNA) – At least three people were killed and 29 injured, in a Russian drone attack on Kiev overnight, according to Ukrainian civil defence authorities.
Seven children were among the injured by the attack on the capital, the civil defence wrote on Telegram.
According to the Kiev military administration, Ukrainian air defences were deployed, but were unable to prevent all the damage.
Falling debris from downed drones damaged residential buildings in several city districts. Kiev’s mayor Vitali Klitschko also reported on the attacks on Telegram.
Ukraine has been defending itself against Russia’s full-scale invasion for more than three and a half years.
Ukrainian cities are repeatedly attacked with drones, rockets and cruise missiles.
