Sissala West MP donates GH¢340,000 worth of medical equipment

Gwollu,(UWR), Oct. 09, GNA – Mr Mohammed Adams Sukparu, the MP for the Sissala West Constituency has donated medical equipment to the Gwollu district health directorate to improve healthcare delivery in the area.  

The equipment comprised One Theatre bed, 15 ward beds, Three Ultrasound scanner, two Delivery beds and one Suctioning machine worth GH¢340,000  

Dr James Sunkari, the Medical Officer and Mr Yakubu Benin the acting District Health Director received the equipment.  

Dr Sunkari expressed joy about the donation, which would help conduct smooth surgery in the theatre.  

Mr Benin, the acting District Director of Health thanked the MP for his benevolent support to the district health fraternity and pledged to put the equipment into good use and would also ensure good maintenance culture.   

Mr Sukparu, who is also the Deputy Minister for Communications and Digital Innovation promised the hospital of a moving vehicle for the medical doctor’s transportation to enable smooth health delivery in the district.  

 The MP also used the opportunity to appreciate the hard-working health staff and the medical doctor for accepting to work in the Sissala West District.
