Accra, Oct 2, GNA – The National Media Commission (NMC), has paid a working visit to the Ghana News Agency (GNA).
The visit which aimed at giving the commission a first hand information on the operations of the agency, also sought to help the NMC identify the challenges hampering its mandate.












In her address, Professor Akua Biritwum, Chairperson of the NMC who led the delegation gave assurances of the commission’s support to help the agency achieve its mandate.
She also urged management of the agency to leverage on digitization, and digitalization as means of improving its fortunes.












she was accompanied by Mr. Kobby Asmah, Mr. Kofi Yeboah, Mr. Mahama Shaibu, Abena Annobea-Asare, Cecil Sunkwa-Mills, Lawyer Eva Okyere, Ernest Owusu Addo, Anthony Obeng Afrane, and Hajj Muhammad Amir Kpakpo Addo.
Mr. Albert Kofi Owusu, the General Manager of the GNA who welcomed the team, gave them a briefing on the operations and challenges of the agency.












He also led the commission to assess ongoing renovation works athe agency’s head office at the Ministries in Accra.










GNA
