Assin Fosu (C/R), Oct 12, GNA – The Central Regional Coordinator of the National Apprenticeship Programme, Mr Ebenezer Abeiku Essien, has encouraged apprentices to remain focused and committed to their training, emphasising that success in life was not limited to formal education.

Speaking during his tour of the Assin Central Municipality, he noted that trades such as makeup artistry, fashion design, electrical engineering, and mechanics, could also lead to prosperous and fulfilling careers.

He advised apprentices to take their practical training seriously, as entrepreneurship and vocational skills could provide solid foundation for better future.

Mr Essien also assured the apprentices that the government was investing heavily in their development, and therefore, they must stay disciplined and avoid dropping out.

He cautioned that any apprentice who abandoned their training may have their sponsorship funds reclaimed from their parents.

On behalf of the regional apprenticeship leaders, Mr Asare Osuman, founder of Classic Design and Training Fashion, commended President Mahama for keeping his word and urged the government to continue supporting apprentices with the needed tools and resources.

He further encouraged all trainees to stay focused and dedicated to their craft to build successful careers.
