Tel Aviv, Oct 9, (dpa/GNA) – Israeli forces killed several men, who attempted to attack a military post in Gaza City, a military spokesman said on Wednesday.
The search for additional assailants in the area was ongoing, he added, noting that no Israeli soldiers were injured in the incident.
The Times of Israel reported that Defence Minister Israel Katz had visited troops in the area, shortly before the attempted attack.
The military did not immediately provide details on the number of attackers killed.
