GWL honours 11 customers, personnel

Sunyani, (Bono), Oct. 31, GNA-The Ghana Water Limited has honoured some customers, institutions and personnel for their loyalty and dedication, as part of the celebration of its 2025 customer service week. 
 
In all, eleven deserving customers, including some individuals in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions, were recognised for their prompt payment of water bills. 
 
The institutions include Catholic Diocese and the Bank of Ghana as well as Bono Regional offices of the Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo) and the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC). 
 
Mr Kofi Djorkpe, staff of the GWL, also was recognized for his outstanding customer care performance in the first, second, and third quarters of 2025. 
 
They received citations of merit at a forum organised by the GWL to mark the celebration of the 2025 customer service week in Sunyani. 

The celebration was on the theme “Mission Possible: Together We Serve, Together We Thrive”. 
 
Mr Theophilus Collins, the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regional Chief Manager of GWL stressed the need to appreciate the contributions of its dedicated and loyal customers. 
 
He said: “The recognition will serve as motivation for other customers to also pay their water bills promptly” and acknowledged the contributions of some partners and regulators towards supplying clean water to customers. 
 
Madam Sarah Adukbire, one of the awardees, expressed her heartfelt appreciation to GWL for the honour. 

She told the media that the recognition had inspired her to remain a responsible customer.
