Bremen, Germany, Sept 30, (dpa/GNA) – A man fatally shot his partner and two children in the north-western German city of Oldenburg before killing himself, police said on Monday.
The investigators, initially did not provide further details about the identities of the victims.
The incident took place on Monday morning, in a residential building in the neighbourhood of Osternburg.
After being alerted by witnesses, officers found four bodies and the suspected weapon, a police spokesman said. He did not provide details about the weapon.
The police said they did not want to provide further information, out of respect for the bereaved.
A spokesman mentioned that the children’s schools have not yet been informed about the incident.
