Foundation presents medical devices to Bechem Gov’t Hospital

Bechem, (Ahafo), Sept. 24, GNA-The Adehyeman Global Foundation, a fun club, has presented medical devices worth GHC120,000 to the Bechem Government Hospital in the Ahafo Region. 


They included oxygen concentrators, suction machines and other consumables, and were presented to the children’s ward of the facility. 


Speaking at a short presentation ceremony at Bechem, Mr Papa Adepa, the Vice Chairman of the Foundation, said the foundation remained committed to help improve quality healthcare services in the municipality. 


Mr Emmanuel Kwame Frimpong, the Tano South Municipal Chief Executive, expressed appreciation to the foundation, saying, the government needed such assistance to help improve the nation’s health outcomes. 


He emphasised that facilitating accelerated national development remained a collective responsibility and called on civil society organizations and corporate bodies to support the assembly in tackling the emerging needs of the local communities. 


Mr Yaw Frimpong, a council member of the foundation and a lecturer at Bechem St Joseph College of Education, asked the facility to take proper care of the machines. 


Dr David Kofi Twumasi, the Medical Superintendent at the Bechem Government Hospital, thanked the donors for the gesture and pledged to ensure that the machines were used for the intended purpose to improve healthcare delivery.
