Africa Trade Chamber to launch inaugural SummitSept 18

Accra, Sept. 7, GNA – The African Trade Chamber will launch the inaugural Africa Trade Summit on September 18, 2025, at the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) Conference Centre.

The event will preceed the main Summit, scheduled for November 2025, aimed at highlighting the Chamber’s mission to drive private-sector–led growth and strengthen Africa’s role in global trade.

Industry leaders, government representatives, and trade institutions are expected to attend the launch, a release copied to Ghana News Agency said.

Expected organisations include the Pharmaceutical Association of Manufacturers, Chamber of Bulk Oil Distribution, Association of Ghana Industries, AfCFTA Secretariat, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Ghana Free Zones Authority, Association of Ghana Banks, and Ghana Chamber of Commerce.

The Summit  will focus on building competitive value chains and expanding intra-African trade, with emphasis on manufacturing, mining, energy, agriculture, health, logistics, and infrastructure.

“The launch will also present the Chamber’s vision as a continental hub for trade facilitation, where businesses, policymakers, and investors converge to shape Africa’s economic transformation,” the statement said.

Activities will include dialogues with Heads of States, Ministers, and CEOs, Business to Business and Business to Government matchmaking sessions.

There will also be forums on energy, logistics and mining, in addition to an exhibition, and the Africa Trade Awards Gala.
