Sefwi Wiawso (WN/R), Aug 10, GNA – The Western North Regional chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Teachers’ Forum, has joined the rest of the nation to mourn the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight prominent individuals in their line of duty.
A statement signed by Mr Samuel Abubakar Djibo, the President of the Forum, who doubles as the Headmaster of Sefwi Bekwai Senior High School, said these were people who served with vision, discipline, and unwavering commitment to Ghana’s development and security.
It extended sympathies to their families, colleagues, and loved ones, and prayed for God to grant them comfort in this trying times.
“In this time of sorrow, we draw strength from our resilience as a nation. May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace, and may their memories inspire us to continue working towards a brighter future for Ghana,” the statement said.
It also offered heartfelt sympathies to President John Dramani Mahama acknowledging the weight of responsibility and grief that rests on his shoulders.
