(Akatsi VR), Aug. 21, GNA – The Church of Pentecost, Agorve District under the Sogakope Area in the Volta Region, has commenced this year’s August Convention with a call on believers to rise to another level.
Dubbed ‘Eagles Conference 25’ the event is on the theme: “Unleashed for Greater Heights,” from the Book of Isaiah 40:31.
Reverend Prosper Kpeli, the Agorve District Pastor of the Church told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after an evening service, that a total of 14 assemblies under the district were participating in the ‘power packed’ event.
He said the conference, which had both morning and evening sessions, would focus on teachings, deliverance, prophetic declarations, amidst praise and worship, among others.
The GNA’s during a visit to the Agorve Central Auditorium on Wednesday night, witnessed hundreds of Church members including the youth, fully engaged in prayers and songs of worship to glorify the Lord.
The Church’s leadership had said in the coming years, it believed to strive to become a Church whose members go to possess the nations.
It said this had to do with the application of the Kingdom principles, values, and lifestyles, thereby, turning many people to Christ.”
The six-day gathering is expected to end on Sunday, August 24.
