Juaboso (WN/R), Aug. 27, GNA – Mr Alexander Adu Quist, the Juaboso District Chief Executive (DCE), has visited the various West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) centres to monitor the ongoing examination in the district.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), the DCE said the government and their parents had contributed to the candidates’ overall educational needs for the past three years so it was time for them to finish well and excel.
He encouraged them to tackle each paper with focus and provide answers to the best of their ability, and trust in their knowledge and skills they had accumulated over the years.
“Approach this exam with a great sense of hope that your hard work and midnight toils be rewarded highly with the golden opportunity to advance your education and I pray the good Lord crowns your efforts with sterling results,” Mr Quist said.
He challenged the candidates to excel at the exams and to become beneficiaries of the government’s “No Fees Stress Policy” and COCOBOD Child Education Progranme, which provided financial support for tertiary education.
The DCE praised the teachers for preparing the students adequately for the examination.
