Bibiani (WN/R), Aug. 02, GNA – Mr Bright Asamoah Brefo, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, and Mr Sebastian Obeng, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the area, have embarked on a familiarisation visit to the Municipal Health Directorate.
This is to discuss matters of concern in healthcare service delivery in the municipality.
The visit formed part of the MP’s commitment to improving healthcare services through the provision of improved facilities in the municipality.
Mr Oheneba Oppong Darko, the Municipal Health Director, gave a comprehensive overview of the state of health in Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai by highlighting key challenges and areas for improvement.
The Director emphasised the need for increased resources and support to address healthcare gaps in the constituency.
Mr Brefo in his address, mentioned potential strategies for improving healthcare infrastructure and services in the constituency, and promised to collaborate with the Health Ministry to help resolve identified challenges.
“The Assembly will ensure that everyone in the constituency gets access to quality healthcare and opportunities for growth and development,” he said.
The MCE, on his part, appreciated the good services the health directorates had been rendering to the people and encouraged them to continue the good works to provide the health needs of the residents.
