Kumasi, July 1, GNA – The Law Students Union of KNUST has honoured Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, former NPP Chairman for Afigya Kwabre South, for his selfless leadership and consistent support towards youth development and the advancement of young minds.
A citation signed by Mr. Evans Osei Bonus, President of the Union, and presented to Mr. Appiah at a dinner and awards night in Kumasi, hailed him as “an extraordinary statesman, a consummate leader, and a benevolent pillar of support for young minds.”
“At a time when leadership is often measured in words, you have chosen to lead by example—through action, generosity, and a steadfast commitment to the growth of young minds,” the citation read.
According to the students, Mr. Appiah’s financial support, consistent counselling, and visionary guidance have significantly contributed to the success of the Union’s activities.
“You opened your doors, your hands, and your heart to us, and in doing so, etched your name into the legacy of our Union. You saw in us not just students, but the promise of a brighter Ghana,” they noted.
They praised him for investing in that promise with the heart of a father and the foresight of a statesman—a gesture they said they would forever cherish.
“As future custodians of justice and leadership, we have not only been beneficiaries of your kindness but also students of your exemplary leadership,” the citation added.
The Union said the citation served as a modest symbol of their deep respect, appreciation, and admiration for him, and affirmed that his impact would transcend the moment and resonate through generations.
