Accra, July 15, GNA – Accra, July 15, GNA – The Accra edition of the Global Africa Summit (GAS) is to be launched on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Palms by Eagles Hotel in Accra.
The Summit, endorsed by the Diaspora Affairs Office at the Office of the President, is a Pan-African platform accelerating Africa’s development through strategic collaboration, global dialogue, and diaspora-driven investment.
This edition, according to a statement issued to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday, curated by the Africa Investment Network, will connect Africa and its diaspora through investment showcases, policy forums, and cultural partnerships in cities including Accra, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Toronto.
Under the theme: “Global Partnerships – Fuelling Africa’s Development and Collective Prosperity,” the pre-launch event will unveil the Summit’s core content tracks, strategic collaborations, and Ghana’s leadership in promoting transcontinental development.
The Summit is being organised in collaboration with the Diaspora Affairs Office of the President (DAOOP), American Chamber of Commerce (Ghana), and TopDog Africa Limited.
“Some speakers and guests to feature at the Summit include, Mrs Jane Reindorf-Osei, Founder and President, Africa Investment Network, Clarence Wooten, Executive-in-Residence, Google X, Dr Michael K. Obeng, CEO, Miko Pharma, Cultural and Commercial Attachés from the Bahamas Embassy, Senior Ghanaian government officials, creatives, and private sector leaders,” the statement said.
“It will reflect Ghana’s leadership in harnessing diaspora capital, talent, and partnerships to drive economic transformation. The event will also spotlight Ghana as a destination for trade, tourism, and cultural reconnection,” it added.
