Otiakrom – Shallom E/R July 01, GNA – Apostle Kadmiel E.H. Agbelenyo, Founder and Leader of Seventh Day Theocratic World Congregation, has called on Ghanaians to trust only God and not Satan the liar.
He said this when delivering his sermon on Sabbath Day at Otiakrom-Shallom near Aburi in the Eastern Region.
Apostle Agbelenyo said God created Adam and Eve and placed them into the garden of Eden and warned them to eat all fruits except the one in the middle. (Genesis 1:2-16).
He said unto them, “anytime you may eat you may die, but Satan turned to a snake and told Eve that God is a liar that any time you may eat you may become wise like Him. (Genesis 2:3-9).”
But God has already told them anytime they eat the fruit they would die. But Eve obeyed the Snake, pluck the fruit, ate and gave some to Adam and immediately they ate they all became naked.
He said God called them and saw that they are naked and told them surely you may die because you did not listen to me. (Gen. 11:13). Because you did not speak the truth also. Eve told God that it was the Snake which deceived me that if we eat the fruit that was in the middle we shall become like you. (Genesis 2:3-9).
Apostle Agbelenyo said satan is a liar and therefore following satan may lead to distraction, “like he deceived Eve to eat the fruit that God has said that Adam and Eve should not eat.”
