Accra, June 01, GNA – Mr Daniel Edusei, a Talent Consultant and Licensed Counselor has urged the young and old alike to discover their God- given talent to achieve their life dreams and ambitions.
He said each one of us was endowed with a talent packaged at birth for which we were supposed to use to impart the lives of others and live meaningful lives.
To this end, he recommended the use of “Kizzo,” a two-legged game played with marbles and some dice in the fashion of Ludo.
Played with a minimum of two and a maximum of five people, it is played with marbles and dice and contains 17 subjects and 45 professions with feathered colors such as blue, green, white, yellow and red.
A foldable structure, the game is produced locally made up of wood, plastic and velvet material with vertical and horizontal strands of two pieces each.
Mr Edusei in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, said though the game was designed for all ages, the foremost to benefit were the young ones.
He said it could be used by learners of all ages from class four to those at the tertiary institutions, adding that it was practical and could help deal with the needless stress students go through in their career choices.
The game which has the tagline Kizzo, has been approved by NaCCa as learning material for basic schools.
It is represented by what he termed the four powerful forces of the individual which makes them develop their potential including interest, passion flair and hobby, with the triple forces of the individual being passion, flair and hobby.
Though the game was launched about five years ago, it continues to make waves in the educational landscape.
Mr. Edusei said society would be a better place if we were all to discover our God-given abilities and deploy them for the good of society.
He said he intended to re-launch the game to benefit targeted schools and institutions in society.
“Everybody is a genius if we can discover, develop and commercialize our natural abilities,” he said.
He said while it was a form of entertainment, it also served to provide an opportunity for players to discover their natural abilities.
The inventor, who is also an author and founder of Realms of Destiny Ministry International Church said after pursuing a wide array of life activities to earn a living, he concluded that he needed to find his God- given talent to make life meaningful.
According to him, after researching online and reading widely, he got the inspiration to develop a tool which could help people discover their potential which he followed painstaking effort.
He urged schools, individuals, institutions and other interested parties to find samples at the Methodist Book Depot.
