Oti Regional Minister to Host Pontoon Cruise Party to Promote 24-Hour Economy

Dambai (O/R) June 17, GNA- Mr. John Kwadwo Gyapong, the Oti Regional Minister, is set to kick-start the celebration of Republic Day with a unique event.

The “Oti Regional Minister’s 2025 Pontoon Cruise Party,” scheduled for July 1st, 2025, aims to educate and engage the youth on the 24-Hour Economy Policy.

The pontoon cruise on the River Oti will feature merry-making, music, educational activities, two-hour Borbor, Kpalongo drumming and dancing performance at Kudor-Kope.

The event will focus on educating participants about policy details, benefits, and implementation of strategies.

The Minister emphasised the importance of communicating the policy’s benefits to the youth, stating that it’s a “game-changer” for economic growth and development.

The event promises to be a memorable celebration of Republic Day, promoting unity, tourism and economic growth in the Oti Region.

President John Dramani Mahama, will officially launch the 24-Hour Economy Programme on July 1st, 2025, coinciding with the Republic Day celebrations and this marks a significant milestone in the country’s economic development journey.
