Dambai (O/R), June 17, GNA-Mr. Nixon Edem Gidisu has been appointed as the new Municipal Manager of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) in Krachi East, marking a significant change in leadership of the Municipality’s healthcare sector.
Before assuming his new role, Mr. Gidisu served in various capacities within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Krachi East.
These include constituency deputy secretary of the NDC, where he demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to public service, he again played a crucial role in managing elections within the constituency, he oversaw constituency activities and initiatives, showcasing administrative expertise.
Mr. Gidisu contributed to the Youth Working Committee and Accommodation Committee in the Volta Region.
He was appointed Ewe campaign team coordinator in the 2024 elections and has successfully coordinated campaigns.
As Municipal Manager, Mr Gidisu will lead the implementation of NHIS programmes, ensuring access to quality healthcare services for Krachi East residents.
His leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of quality healthcare delivery in the Municipality.
