Bibiani (WN/R), June 22, GNA — The Atlantic Essential Development Incorporated, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), has initiated steps to build a mechanised borehole for Bibiani Senior High Technical School in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.

According to Mr Stephen Aboagye, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organisation, the project was planned during an interaction with the school authorities at a camp meeting, after which the Board of Directors of the organisation accepted to execute the project.

He added that Queens Senior High School, the only female second-cycle school in the Western North Region had benefited from a similar facility upon a request from  Ogyeahoho  Yaw Gyebi II, President of the National House of Chiefs, and the Municipal Assembly.

Mr George Baidooh, the Headmaster of Bibiani SHTS, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the NGO for coming to the aid of the school at a crucial time.

He stated that the facility would help supply water to the entire school, including the masters’ bungalows and the dormitories.

The principal used the opportunity to commend the Bibiani Municipal Assembly, past students, Parents Association, and PW Mining Company for their efforts in helping to supply water to the school over the years.

He promised to take care of the facility to prolong its lifespan upon completion.
