Tel Aviv, June 15, (dpa/GNA) – An Iranian missile attack has struck a plant belonging to Israeli petrochemicals company BAZAN, in the north of the port city of Haifa, the company said on Sunday.
Pipelines and transfer lines were hit, the company, which refines oil and makes products for industry, agriculture and transport, said.
BAZAN said the refinery itself was continuing to operate, while other parts of the site have been shut down.
The effects of the strike and how long repairs would take are being assessed.
