British Boxer Anthony Joshua calls on President Mahama

British Boxer Anthony Joshua, the British boxer has paid a courtesy call on President John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House in Accra.The visit followed his participation in the “Battle of the Beasts” boxing event, organized by Legacy Rise Sports, a promotion outfit founded by Mr. Sharaf Mahama.

During their meeting Which centered on matters of mutual interest, including youth empowerment and sports development in Africa, Joshua expressed admiration for Ghana’s vibrant culture and warm hospitality.

The British boxer who presented an autographed boxing glove to the President, revealed his plans to invest in Ghana, highlighting the country’s strong potential for attracting private sector investment.

Conferring the title “Ambassador for Boxing in Africa,” on Joshua, President Mahama expressed his desire to see Ghana produce future world champions.Below are some scenes from the meeting.
