Hohoe (V/R), May 8, GNA – The Nightingale Hospital, Marylebone London has donated boxes of medical supplies to the Volta Regional Hospital, Hohoe to enhance the delivery of quality health services.
They included seven cartons of face shield, 14 cartons of surgical masks, three cartons of surgical gowns, five cartons of assorted needles, syringes, intravenous line and sanitizer as well as a carton of hand gloves.
Mr Hehetror Senyo, who donated the items on behalf of the London-based health facility, said it followed an earlier donation done by Madam Freda Agyemang-Hehetror in July 2023.
He said the donation by Madam Agyemang-Hehetror, a staff of the Nightingale Hospital caught the eye of the facility which also decided to donate to the Volta Regional Hospital.
Mr Hehetror said the support of the Hospital for Madam Agyemang-Hehetror was a kind one which will benefit the health facilities in many ways of healthcare delivery.
He said it was the hope that the Volta Regional Hospital in utilising the items donated, would enhance their work.
Madam Esther Kporwofe, Nurse Manager, Volta Regional Hospital, Hohoe receiving the items expressed appreciation to the donors on behalf of management and staff of the Hospital.
She said the items would be used effectively and efficiently towards the delivery of quality health services in the Region.
