Accra, May 1, GNA – The Ghana Bloggers Association has applauded journalists, bloggers, content creators, and workers across the country for driving national development.
A statement by Mr. Andre Mustapha Nii Okai Inusah, President of the Association, to mark this year’s Workers Day, said the critical role of media professionals and the wider workforce in promoting national development was worth celebrating.
He commended content creators, journalists, bloggers, and media professionals who, through their voices and platforms, continued to inform, inspire, and influence society.
“Your work is not just a profession; it is a mission of service, integrity, and empowerment,” he said.
The brief emphasised the importance of innovation and adaptability in today’s evolving work environment and commended Ghanaian workers for meeting those challenges with resilience and purpose.
It called for a renewed commitment to labour rights, fair working conditions, and policies that supported inclusive growth and creative freedom.
“Happy May Day to all workers! Your labour is noble, your efforts invaluable, and your dedication commendable.”
International Workers’ Day, also known as May Day, is observed annually on May 1 to honour the contributions of workers and labour movements across the world.
