Tema Police Command seek support to identify dead pregnant woman

Tema, April 16, GNA – The Tema Regional Police Command is seeking the support of the public to aid in the identification of a deceased pregnant woman. 

In an announcement signed by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dede Dzakpasu, the Tema Regional Police Public Affairs Officer, and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), it said the body of a pregnant woman was found on the Tema-Accra Motorway. 

“The Tema Regional Police Command is investigating a case involving a deceased pregnant woman, aged about 40, found on the Tema-Accra Motorway on 11th April 2025 at about 1 pm.” 

The Command, therefore, asked for public assistance to identify her and notify her family accordingly. 

It said anyone with information regarding her identity should kindly contact the nearest police station or call 0246259137, 0547272599 or 18555.
