Abakrampa (C/R), Apr.16, GNA – Nana Budukuma V, Nyimfahene of Abura State in the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese District of the Central Region, has committed to collaborate with traditional leaders in his area to promote the growth of Abura State.
He made these remarks when he swore an oath of allegiance to Emintsinminim Otu XI, Omanhene of Abura Traditional Area at a colourful ceremony at Abakrampa.
Nana Budukuma, known in private life as Mr William Akonu-Atta, 45, is a Laboratory Technician at Kasapreko Company.
He said he was committed towards fostering unity and development and help promote a collective responsibility towards developing the area.
By this, he said all hands should be on deck to drive economic growth in their various communities, improve living standard of the people and promote social welfare to help each other.
Emintsinminim Otu, charged the Nyimfahene to subject himself to the Odikro of Abura Dunkwa, heed to advice and work to leave behind an indelible mark in the lives of the people of Abura State.
He further urged Nana Budukuma to bring on board programmes and policies to accelerate the pace of development in the traditional area.
The event was well attended by nanaanom, the clergy and some residents of Abura Dunkwa.
