Accra, April 19, GNA—Dr Michael Boadi Nyamekye, the Chairman of The Maker’s House Chapel International, has described the blood of Jesus as the believer’s most potent weapon against the enemy, emphasising its ability to secure divine protection and deliverance.
He said the blood is the voice interceding on behalf of the redeemed and the only language God responds to in spiritual matters concerning salvation and protection.
“The blood is sprinkled on the mercy seat. So, the only language God speaks is that of the blood,” Dr Nyamekye told his congregation during the Good Friday night service, dubbed: “Pin to the Cross.”

He said divine exemption and victory in spiritual warfare were not secured through eloquence, education, material possessions or social status, but only through the blood of Jesus Christ.
“When I see the blood, I will pass over. The only thing that can uphold a state of execution is the blood – not grammar, not prowess, not your degrees or wealth,” he said, referencing the account in Exodus: 12.
Elaborating further, Dr Nyamekye said the Passover in the Old Testament was a shadow of Christ’s ultimate sacrifice in the New Testament, where Jesus fulfilled prophecy by shedding His blood for humanity’s redemption.

“In the Old Testament, the blood was on the doorposts. In the New Testament, the blood is on the lives of believers. So, I don’t need to be in a house to be protected- I walk in divine protection,” he declared.
Dr Nyamekye said God’s act of deliverance in Egypt was threefold – against humans, animals, and the gods of Egypt – and typified God’s comprehensive judgment against anything that opposed His will for His people.
“There was no distinction between a Jew and an Egyptian. They had lived together, intermarried, and shared cultures. What marked the difference was the blood,” he said.
He emphasised the power of a believer’s declaration to bring about change – whether positive or negative – and urged them to be mindful of their words, especially when using the phrase “I am.”
“Theologically, ‘I am’ is not just a name – it is an invocation. Whatever follows ‘I am’ is given divine power to manifest. That is why the Bible says, ‘Let the weak say, I am strong,’”he explained.
Leading the congregation into a time of prophetic declarations, Dr Nyamekye encouraged each one to affirm their spiritual identity and speak life into their destinies.

“I am healed. I am prosperous. I am lifted. I am favoured. I am going international,” the auditorium echoed in unison as believers declared their faith.
The Chairman led the congregants to pray with Colossians 2:14: “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to Christ’s cross”.
Following the prayers, congregants were invited to write down their personal requests and pin them to a symbolic cross – an act of faith in God’s divine intervention.
Dr. Nyamekye expressed joy over the powerful testimonies shared by individuals whose prayers had been answered after pinning their requests to the cross in previous years.
Reflecting on the numerous petitions pinned to the cross, he said: “I can imagine some very confidential requests. Fortunately, I’m not the one to answer them, but the Almighty God.”
He assured the congregation that he and the pastoral team would commit the requests to prayer over the next three days.

The service was filled with fervent prayer, prophetic ministration, passionate worship, and spirit-filled music from Gospel musician MoG and Destiny Songs.
The atmosphere was one of joy, spiritual awakening, healing, deliverance and a tangible sense of God’s presence.
