Ghana Post welcomes new leadership

Accra, March 17, GNA – Ghana Post, Ghana’s designated postal administrator and the country’s leading courier service provider, has welcomed the appointment of Mrs. Rita Sraha as Managing Director (CEO) and Mr. Stephen Kingsley Bennieh as Deputy Managing Director, Finance & Administration (F&A).

A statement from Ghana Post copied to the Ghana News Agency on Monday said their appointments mark a new phase in the organization’s efforts to enhance efficiency, expand its digital capabilities, and strengthen its position in Ghana’s evolving logistics and postal sector.

Mr Samuel Nartey George, Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, on an official visit to introduce the new leadership said his vision for the company included positioning the company as a 360-degree government post office, integrating e-commerce logistics, financial transactions, and digital services alongside traditional postal operations.

Mrs. Rita Sraha, a Chartered Accountant and business consultant, brings expertise in finance, corporate governance, and strategic management.

Mr. Stephen Kingsley Bennieh, the newly appointed Deputy Managing Director, Finance & Administration, will oversee financial planning, compliance, and administrative functions at Ghana Post.

With a background in law and academia, he is expected to strengthen governance frameworks, financial oversight, and operational policies to ensure efficiency in resource allocation and corporate management.

The statement said in the coming weeks, the new leadership will engage with key stakeholders, industry partners, and corporate clients to align strategies and drive Ghana Post’s transformation agenda.
