Big Ada, March 18, GNA – Nene Lomo IV, Divisional Chief for the Lomobiawer Clan in the Ada Traditional Area, has called on residents to renew their spirit of togetherness, embrace change, and protect each other to foster development of the community.

Nene Lomo made the call when delivering a speech during the inauguration of the Jetse Developmental Foundation, a non-governmental organisation founded by Nene Jetse Abram Kabu Akuaku III, Paramount Chief of the Ada Traditional Area.

He urged the residents to draw inspiration from their diverse experiences and celebrate the richness that everyone brings to their shared cause, adding that “In a world that often seems divided, today we stand united.”

He also encouraged community members to commit to the spirit of civil responsiveness and stand up for change with or without a call.

“Our journey is rooted in the understanding that every step forward requires hard work, unwavering dedication, and a willingness to collaborate,” he stated.

According to him, each resident of Ada has a vital role to play in the development of the area, calling on them to show acts of kindness, lend a helping hand, and have a shared dream of what the communities in Ada could become.

He reminded the indigenes of Ada that progress was not a solitary pursuit but rather a collective march towards a future where every voice was heard, and every life was valued.

“I invite each of you to join me in a renewed pledge of community action. Let us embrace the challenge with hope in our hearts and faith in our abilities,” he appealed.

Nene Lomo also asserted that the Jetse Developmental Foundation would shine as a beacon of hope, becoming an example of what could be achieved when indigenes come together with a common purpose, reiterating the need for the people to nurture their communities with compassion, integrity, and relentless pursuit of excellence.

He added that “the journey ahead may be filled with obstacles, but it is also brimming with opportunities to make a profound impact. The commitment today paves the way for tomorrow’s breakthroughs, and together, we will build a legacy that inspires generations to come.”
