Accra, March 18, GNA— Ghanaian musician Emmanuel Kwadwo Oware, better known by his stage name as Ayisi, says he feels motivated after receiving three nominations for the forthcoming 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
The highly regarded Ghanaian musician has been nominated for Best Songwriter of the Year, Best Male Vocal Performance, and Record of the Year at the upcoming 26th TGMA Awards.
He bagged these nominations with his “Can I Live?” song, a spiritual and uplifting song that inspires listeners to strive hard in their search for survival.
In an interview, Ayisi stated that he felt honoured to be recognised for his efforts throughout the review year.
“Getting three nominations serves as a big motivation for me going forward, and I want to thank my fans and team for supporting me.
“We hope for the best in the near future, and we are going to push even harder as we quest to be heard on the global stage,” he said.
Ayisi also delivered an outstanding performance during the nominees’ announcement jam at the Accra International Conference Centre last Saturday.
His outstanding performance earned him plaudits, with supporters urging organisers to give him the opportunity to perform on the main awards night, which is scheduled for May 3, 2025.
