2025 AATWE competition set for March 8

Accra, Mar 05, GNA – The 2025 edition of Advantage All Tennis Women’s Empowerment (AATWE) scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at the Accra Tennis Club.

The tourney would be launching a comprehensive empowerment programme, designed to equip ladies with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in tennis.

In an interview with the GNA Sports Hajia Zenabu Suleman of the Confederation of Africa Tennis (CAT) Advantage All Executive Committee Member said the programme was aimed to empower young ladies in the sport.

She said, through this programme, participants would receive training in tennis coaching, officiating, administration, and more.

She said this initiative aims to bridge the gap and create opportunities for women to take on leadership role in tennis.

She said as the world celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, the event would honor women in sports.

She said, “this event is more than just a tennis tournament, it’s a catalyst for empowerment and it has come to stay.

“We are also going to celebrate our women who are into sport like sports journalists, administrators, and athletes.”
