Wenchi, (Bono), Feb. 11, GNA – The Reverend Isaac Gregory Amoah, the Wenchi Head Pastor Worldlife Transforming Church in the Bono Region has cautioned the youth to deist from sinful pleasures and worldliness.
He said staying away from sin was the surest way the youth could obtain sustaining blessing and good riches from God.
“We must endeavour to separate ourselves from sin and worldly amusements and pleasures to attract true and genuine riches and blessings from God,” the Rev Minister advised.
Rev Amoah gave the advice when he was speaking at the launch of his book titled the “New Creation New Reality” at a service held at Wenchi, saying “anyone who belongs to Jesus Christ has become a new person and therefore hates sin”, calling on the youth to draw closer to God through prayers and study of the Bible.
He highlighted the need for Christians to strive to live righteously, saying “our righteousness is in Jesus Christ, and we must endeavour to abide in Him to be able to bear the fruit of righteous living.”
“Sin is always a dictator and a barrier that separates us from God,” Rev Amoah indicated, adding sin damaged and destroyed the soul and our relationship with God, our maker.
“Often times the destruction of the soul by sin goes beyond repairs and we need to stop sinning in order not to reach the stage of apostasy where it will be very difficult for us to return to build our relationship with our maker,” Rev Amoah stated.
