Nkwanta North set for transformation: Oti Regional Minister assures chiefs of massive development

Kpassa (O/R) Feb 12, GNA – Mr. John Kwadwo Gyapong, has assured chiefs of the Nkwanta North District that his administration will bring unprecedented growth to the area.

He made this promise during a courtesy call on chiefs and traditional authorities at Kpassa in the Nkwanta North District capital, emphasising his commitment to driving development in the area.

The courtesy brought together Konkombas from the enclave, highlighted the need for chiefs and stakeholders to prioritize the progress of their areas.

“I want to assure you that my doors are always open, 24 hours a day, nothing should restrict you from knocking on my door to ask for development, I am here to serve you and ensure that our region prospers,” Mr Gyapong added.

Ubor Konja Tassan VI, the overlord of Kpassa has expressed his gratitude to the Regional Minister and his team for selecting his jurisdiction as their first port of call.

In his closing address, Ubor Tassan VI, thanked the minister for choosing Kpassa as their starting point for his familiarization tour and interaction with the Chiefs.

He made the appeal to the Oti Region Minister, Mr Gyapong to address some pressing concerns in the area and its include power fluctuations.

The overlord appealed to the minister to help stabilize the power supply in the district, which has been experiencing frequent fluctuations.

Ubor Tassan VI, requested the minister’s assistance in providing a reliable water system for the residents of Nkwanta North, essential for their health and well-being.

He urged the minister’s support in speeding up the construction of the Agenda 111 district hospital, a project aimed at enhancing healthcare infrastructure across the country.

The overlord urged the minister to facilitate the completion of the critical road stretch, which is essential for connecting communities and promoting economic growth.
