Takoradi (W/R), Jan. 17, GNA – The Western Regional branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended a heartfelt congratulations to the nominees given Ministerial appointments so far from the Region.
“We are proud to announce that Mr Joseph Nelson, with his extensive experience and deep roots in the Western Region, has been nominated for the position of Western Regional Minister.”
“Additionally, we celebrate the nomination of Madam Emelia Arthur for the Fisheries and Aquaculture Ministry”. This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Western Regional Communications bureau and signed by the Regional Communications Officer of the NDC, Mr Kirk Mensah and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Takoradi.
The statement said the exceptional leadership, dedication, and expertise in advancing community development and sustainable fisheries were well recognized.
The Communications bureau noted that the “nominations reflect the trust and confidence President John Dramani Mahama has in the Western Region’s capable leaders”.
“We deeply appreciate his vision and commitment to empowering individuals who embody excellence and dedication to national development”, the statement said.
“We stand united in support of these distinguished nominees and look forward to their transformative contributions to our Region and the nation as a whole”.
We sincerely thank the President of the Republic of Ghana HE Mr John Dramani Mahama for the honour done the Region so far and we look forward to other possible nominations”.
